There is a ramp here and bulkhead to fish from. The water is fairly deep right off the bulkhead and the current runs thru here swiftly. Just north is an area near the drawbridge that can be fished from shore as well. Bait is available at several tackle shops nearby.

Powerboaters and Kayakers can launch and explore the area further. The ramp requires a permit which can be obtained from local Police Station. Fishing areas are nearby and can be reached by small boat. Check with local tackle shops or VMRC for fishing regulations.
