Fishing aboard Janie Mac

 September, 2003

The day started out with huge seas breaking at the inlet. The able boat plowed right thru and soon we found ourselves offshore in a calm ocean.

An angler comes tight on a nice yellowfin.

The mate gaffs a tuna.

The last angler to fight a fish found a reward worth the wait. My good friend boated a citation wahoo!

Another shot of this beautiful fish.

We had a fantastic trip and ended up with 5 tuna and a wahoo. Everyone agreed we had a successful trip.

The captain is very knowledgeable and courteous. The equipment is state of the art and the boat is seaworthy with an outstanding ride. I would not hesitate to fish on this boat again.

Footnote:

Captain George McCollough has since retired. Janie Mac was sold and now fishes from North Carolina.
