Raritan Bay is one of New Jersey’s most important estuaries. The bay is situated between Monmouth County (New Jersey), Staten Island (New York), Lower New York Bay, and Sandy Hook (New Jersey). Raritan Bay is fed by the Raritan River, Arthur Kill, and several smaller tributaries.

Winter Flounder

Raritan Bay anglers fish for striped bass, bluefish, weakfish, fluke, winter flounder, spot, croakers, and other species. Blue crabs are also caught in the bay.
