Mid Atlantic Flounder Fishing
Flounder fishing is popular sport along the Mid Atlantic coast. In the states of New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, flounder fishing is especially popular, with Cape May, Lewes, Ocean City, Chincoteague, Wachapreague, and Quinby being famous for their flounder fisheries.
Excellent flounder fishing can also be found in the Chesapeake Bay, including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, Cape Charles, Kiptopeake, the Cell, Pocomoke and Tangier Sounds, artificial reefs, and other areas.
